- Knows which card it is pricing
- Every listing is matched to its exact printing — serial stamps, slab labels and the card's own photo are checked against the title, because a Gold /10 and its base card share a name and differ in price ten times over. Where identity is not certain, a person decides from a shortlist, never the machine.
- Prices from observed sales
- Proposals are built from what cards actually sold for at that grade, with a second price guide watching for disagreements. A card nobody has bought has no price rather than an invented one.
- Shows its working
- Each proposed change carries the photos, the sales it rests on, and links to the sources — so approving a price is a judgement made in seconds, not an act of trust.
- Writes nothing to the shop
- Shopify is read-only while the store is trading. Approvals are recorded and wait; nothing reaches the storefront until writes are deliberately switched on.
